Southern California Manta Ray (part 2)

Every summer, we do a few trips to Southern California and the Channel Islands to hunt yellowtail, white seabass, halibut, calico bass, and (if we're lucky) mahi mahi. Summer of 2011 in review. Footage was filmed from May to September at locations ranging from the Mendocino coast to Isla Guadalupe in Baja California, with Sonoma, Monterey, Big Sur, Santa Cruz island, and San Clemente island hunted in between. Spent 6 days enjoying West Maui's sun and sea. Huge thanks to Jake and Hailey Ramey, Whitney, and the other guys who went out of their way to help put me on the fish and teach me how to hunt em. Freedive spearfishing in Big Sur, California.

On the spur of the moment, I decided to blast down to southern California for a weekend of lobster diving. Thanks to the generous help of a number of divers down south, I had a great time and ended the trip with a full limit of 7 bugs.
